Frequently Asked Questions

By joining the FDATES MEMBERSHIP, you will have access to our weekly FDATE REPORT along with other valuable resources.

DTDs and WTDs are the dates listed on our weekly posted FDate Report. These FDate turn dates are generated using our suite of proprietary applications (called the FDate Suite of Applications) that apply Geometric Mathematics and Cycle Extraction Protocols to historical price data in order to extrapolate into the near future the dates when the market is most likely to reverse (change direction). The DTDs are for the DAILY time frame charts and the WTDs for the WEEKLY time frame charts.

Due to the high accuracy of FDates in determining the dates when to expect a swing top or bottom to occur (+/- 1 price bar), we always expect a turn will occur for an upcoming FDate. As to knowing in advance whether that turn will be a bottom or top, there is no way to know for sure other than to note the direction of prices as we enter into that FDate time period. For example, if prices are moving higher into the FDate, naturally we would be expecting a swing top for that FDate. If prices making a new low into the FDate, we would expect a swing bottom will be forming.

THE PREVISIONS CHARTING SOFTWARE

While you can use any charting software or charting service you like for trading FDates, we do provide a charting program called Previsions Charting at no additional cost. This program was developed specifically for FDate traders. While it is not required to use this application for FDate trading, it does have some pretty powerful analytical tools to help you make better timing decisions. If you decide to use Previsions Charting, you’ll need to provide your own EOD data. We recommend Pinnacle Data but you can use any service you desire. *Note: You would only need EOD data (Metastock format) if you wish to use the Previsions Charting software. Using Previsions Charting, or getting EOD data, is not a requirement to use our membership services.

When you are expecting a market bottom or top based on a FDate, it helps to apply some of the tools found in Previsions Charting to further support the expectation of the turn. In addition, you can have the current FDate turn dates displayed on the chart. While Previsions Charting will not calculate FDates itself, it can read the FDates file available by download from the membership site each week.om to occur (+/- 1 price bar), we always expect a turn will occur for an upcoming FDate.
